Story and Missions
War of Ninja features a compelling story that will take you on a journey through the world of the game. By completing missions, you will progress through the story and unlock new characters and items to use in your battles.
You start your journey through the world of War of Ninja by pressing the Enter World button in the Main Menu. The first time you do this you'll be introduced with the story of War of Ninja, and you'll be taken through a short tutorial. After you've completed this tutorial, you'll have more choice in where to go, including visiting different regions of the world.
Missions can be found in the villages throughout the world. Enter a Village from the World Map and go to the village's Mission Section. There you will be able to view the missions currently available and the ones you have already completed.
To start a mission, simply press the play mission button at the bottom of the mission scroll. Once you've completed all of the mission goals, you'll be able to complete the mission and receive your rewards.
Mission rewards include:
- Access to new areas
- New characters
- Items
- Gold
Completing Mission Goals
Specialty Goals:
Specialty goals require you to collect a certain amount of points in one of three different specialties. Each character in the game has a specialty. Every time you win a match, each character in your team will give you 3
points of their specialty type.
The red number next to the bar indicates your loss penalty. When you lose a game, this amount of points will be subtracted from the bar. Once a bar is full, the goal is completed and thus won't be affected by further losses.
There are 3 specialties:
- Assassination
- Collaboration
- Disruption
Win x
battles:
Requires you to win a certain amount of battles. Sometimes you may be required to use a certain character in your team.
Win x battles in a row:
Requires you to win a certain amount of battles in a row. Sometimes you may be required to use a certain character in your team.
Complete a mission called ...:
Requires you to complete a mission in a different village before you can progress.
Mission Characters
Missions often feature a Mission Character. Mission Characters are characters you have not yet unlocked, but are available for use in that specific mission. Mission characters are highlighted in the Character Selection screen when you are selecting a team for your mission. You cannot save Mission Characters into a squad.
Spending your Gold
In the ninja shops, you will be able to spend the gold you have earned from completing missions. A shop can be accessed through the map, just like Ninja Villages and Arenas. You won't be able to visit the shop right away though, you will have to unlock it by playing missions.
